A Stockport takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Stepping Hill Grill \& Convenience Store, a takeaway at 77 Bramhall Moor Lane, Hazel Grove, Stockport was given the score after assessment on March 4, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Stockport's 308 takeaways with ratings, 159 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
