Stockport road closures: two for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Stockport's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And they are both are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8.30pm November 5 to 5am November 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 27 to junction 3 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• M56, from 8.30pm November 7 to 5am November 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 3 to junction 1 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
