Stockport road closures: five for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Stockport's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 9pm January 27 to 5am January 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 2 to junction 1 - lane closure for barriers - permanent on behalf of National Highways.
And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 8pm January 30 to 5am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise J24 to J25 - lane closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal on behalf of National Highways.

Hide Ad• M60, from 9pm January 31 to 5am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 24 to junction 25 - lane closure for litter clearance.
• M60, from 9pm January 31 to 5am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 27 to junction 25 - lane closure switching for litter clearance.
• M60, from 9pm February 1 to 6am March 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 24 to two - lane closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal on behalf of National Highways.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
