A Stockport restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Burnage Rugby Club (Sports Club), a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Varley Park, Battersea Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport was given the score after assessment on April 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Stockport's 554 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 422 (76%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
