Road closures: two for Stockport drivers this week

Drivers in and around Stockport will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are both are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 9pm October 24 to 5am November 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and Anticlockwise, junction 1 slip road closures due to resurfacing works.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

A5103, from 8pm November 6 to 6am November 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise J1 to J3 - carriageway closure for White Lining/Road Markings.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
