Road closures: three for Stockport drivers this week
Drivers in and around Stockport will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And they are all are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:
• M60, from 9pm November 30 to 5.30am December 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 24 to 27 lane closures and slip road closures due to general maintenance works.
• M60, from 10.30pm December 1 to 5.30am December 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 2 to junction 24 - Lane closures and slip road closures due to Horticultural works.
• M56, from 9pm December 8 to 6am December 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and Anticlockwise, junction 3 - carriageway closure for inspection/survey.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
