New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Khadija Tandoori, at 6 Church Road, Gatley, Cheadle was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 25.

And The Miramar Chinese Takeaway, at 339 Wellington Road North, Heaton Chapel, Stockport was also given a score of five on January 25.

It means that of Stockport's 342 takeaways with ratings, 192 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
