New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Subway, at 222 Finney Lane, Heald Green, Cheadle, Stockport was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 28.

And Subway, at 46 Wellington Road South, Stockport was also given a score of five on November 22.

It means that of Stockport's 339 takeaways with ratings, 194 (57%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
