Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Stockport takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Greggs PLC, at Greggs Plc, 26-28 Mersey Square, Stockport was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 11.

And Poundbakery, at 75 Merseyway, Stockport was also given a score of five on May 11.

It means that of Stockport's 347 takeaways with ratings, 172 (50%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
