Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Stockport restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Purple Pakora, at 173 - 175 London Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 14.

And Purple Pakora, at 10 Brabyns Brow, Marple Bridge, Stockport was also given a score of five on July 12.

It means that of Stockport's 542 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 409 (75%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
