New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Atlantic Fish Bar, at 285 Wellington Road South, Heaviley, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 17.

And New Lee Garden, at 11 School Lane, Heaton Chapel, Stockport was also given a score of four on January 17.

It means that of Stockport's 340 takeaways with ratings, 194 (57%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
