Food hygiene ratings handed to two Stockport takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bay Of Bengal, at 8 Compstall Road, Romiley, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 17.

And The Canadian Charcoal Pit, at 337 Reddish Road, South Reddish, Stockport was given a score of three on July 17.

It means that of Stockport's 347 takeaways with ratings, 180 (52%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
