New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Biryani & Curry Wala, at 331 Reddish Road, South Reddish, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 22.

And Lee's Chinese Food Centre, at 149 Wellington Road North, Heaton Norris, Stockport was also given a score of four on May 22.

It means that of Stockport's 347 takeaways with ratings, 179 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
