New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chunky Fried Chicken, at 22 Castle Street, Edgeley, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 23.

And Great Wall, at 194 Higher Hillgate, Heaviley, Stockport was given a score of one on February 10.

It means that of Stockport's 308 takeaways with ratings, 158 (51%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
