Food hygiene ratings given to two Stockport restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Stockport’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hillgate Cakery, at 22 Lower Hillgate, Stockport was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 26.

And Spice Tower, at 198 Marple Road, Offerton, Stockport was also given a score of four on July 26.

It means that of Stockport's 552 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 418 (76%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
