A Salford takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Khan Chai, a takeaway at 2 King Edwards Buildings, Bury Old Road, Salford was given the minimum score after assessment on August 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 329 takeaways with ratings, 115 (35%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
