A Salford takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Salford takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pizza Monton, a takeaway at 177 Monton Road, Eccles was given the score after assessment on December 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 316 takeaways with ratings, 108 (34%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
