A Salford takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Franksters, a takeaway at Within Al Murad Car Park Fairbank House, 1 Comus Street, Salford was given the maximum score after assessment on January 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 316 takeaways with ratings, 109 (34%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
