A Salford takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mario Pizza, a takeaway at 147 Eccles New Road, Salford was given the score after assessment on July 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 335 takeaways with ratings, 117 (35%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
