A Salford takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Chicken Cottage, a takeaway at F6 Lowry Designer Outlet, The Quays, Salford was given the score after assessment on July 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 326 takeaways with ratings, 110 (34%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
