Salford road closures: more than a dozen for motorists to avoid this week

Salford's motorists will have 18 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And 10 of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 8pm March 11 to 5am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 Clock and Anticlockwise, junction 11 exit slip road lane one closure due to signage for CAZ scheme.

M602, from 8pm March 11 to 5am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M602 eastbound, junction 2 exit slip lane one closure due to signage coverage for TfGM.

M602, from 8pm March 11 to 5am March 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M602 eastbound, junction 3 exit slip closure and lane closure due to signage stickers.

M60, from 9pm March 5 to 5.30am March 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M602 eastbound and westbound, junction 1 -3 lane closures and carriageway closures due to maintenance works.

M61, from 9pm March 7 to 5am April 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A580 eastbound and westbound to M61 northbound, junction 1 - Lane closure for Electrical works.

M60, from 9pm February 1 to 5am April 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 11 to 12, M602, junction 2 to 1, M60 clockwise and Anticlockwise, junction 11 to 13, - carriageway closure for inspection/survey.

M60, from 8.30am July 24 2018 to 6am December 31 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A580 eastbound to M60 clockwise, lane two closed, due to safety.

M62, from 8pm March 14 to 6am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 12 to 10 - Lane closure for communications.

M60, from 8pm March 14 to 5am March 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 Clock and Anticlockwise, junction 13 exit Slips Lane One closure due to CAZ Scheme.

M60, from 9pm March 14 to 7am April 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 3 - 0 lane closures and carriageway closure due to resurfacing.

M61, from 9pm March 16 to 5am March 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 4 to junction 3 - Lane closure for Litter Clearance.

M62, from 8pm March 18 to 5am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 12 to junction 11 - Lane closure for communications.

M60, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J14 to J12 - carriageway closure for carriageway - Reconstruction/Renewal.

M602, from 9pm March 20 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 11 to junction 12 - carriageway closure for drainage.

M60, from 9pm March 20 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 10 - 13 Lane closures due to electrical works.

M60, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 15 to 17 - Lane closures for Electrical works.

M60, from 8pm March 25 to 6am March 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound, J0 to J3 - carriageway closure for Structure - maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
