Salford's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Salford's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And 10 of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 9pm June 25 to 5am June 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 12 to junction 11 - carriageway closure for drainage.

M60, from 9pm April 11 to 6am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 both directions M60 to M61 J3 - carriageway closure for inspection/survey.

M60, from 8pm June 5 to 6am July 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A580 eastbound to M60 clockwise - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.

M60, from 9pm June 19 to 6am August 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions J15 to J13 - carriageway closure for electrical works.

And a further 10 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M62, from 8pm June 27 to 5am June 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, J12 to J11 - lane closure for electrical works.

M60, from 10pm July 1 to 6am July 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J13 to J10 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

M62, from 8pm July 3 to 5am July 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, 12 to 11 - lane closure for construction improvement/upgrade.

M6, from 8.30pm July 3 to 5am July 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 10 - 11 - carriageway closure for communications on behalf of National Highways.

M60, from 8.30pm July 4 to 5am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 both directions, junction 11 to junction 12 - carriageway closure for communications.

M61, from 9pm July 5 to 5am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1 - lane closure for drainage.

M602, from 8.30pm July 6 to 5am July 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 12 - 11 - lane closures and slip road closure for communications on behalf of National Highways.

M60, from 9pm July 7 to 5am July 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 15 to junction 13 - lane closure for drainage.

M60, from 9pm July 10 to 5am July 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 15 to M61, junction 2 - carriageway closure for barriers.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
