A Salford drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Farmers Arms, a pub, bar or nightclub at Farmers Arms, 160 Manchester Road, Pendlebury was given the score after assessment on June 29, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 171 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 127 (74%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
