A Salford drinking establishment has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Boat House Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Ferry Road, Irlam was given the score after assessment on April 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 166 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 132 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
