A Salford drinking establishment has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Swinton Masonic Hall, a pub, bar or nightclub at Masonic Hall, Hospital Road, Swinton was given the maximum score after assessment on October 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Salford's 173 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 135 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
