Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Salford restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Ivy Den Cafe, at Cleavley Centre, Blantyre Street, Eccles was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 15.

And Salford Community Leisure Coffee Cart, at Within Salford Sports Village, 325 Littleton Road, Salford was also given a score of five on November 14.

It means that of Salford's 353 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 220 (62%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
