Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Salford restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Winton Early Years, at Within Winton Community Nursery Centre, Brindley Street, Eccles was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 10.

And Cafe 186, at 186 Moorside Road, Swinton was also given a score of five on September 28.

It means that of Salford's 348 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 209 (60%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
