New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ocean Inn, at 184-186 Liverpool Road, Eccles was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 1.

And Lantern Palace, at 39 New Herbert Street, Salford was also given a score of three on October 12.

It means that of Salford's 327 takeaways with ratings, 113 (35%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
