New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Chippy, at 184 Manchester Road, Swinton was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 5.

And The Food lab, at 141-143 Manchester Road, Clifton, Salford was given a score of four on July 6.

It means that of Salford's 326 takeaways with ratings, 108 (33%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
