Food hygiene ratings handed to two Salford restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hug in a Mug, at Unit 2 Old Co Op Buildings, High Street, Worsley was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 8.

And Shahbaaz Indian Cuisine, at 13-14 Standfield Shopping Centre, Worsley was given a score of two on January 8.

It means that of Salford's 354 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 223 (63%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
