New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ad Maiora, at Within Kargothe Lowry Centre, The Quays, Salford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 30.

And Jerk Junction, at Within Kargo The Lowry Centre, The Quays, Salford was also given a score of four on October 30.

It means that of Salford's 361 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 234 (65%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
