New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Agnes Hopkins Centre., at The Agnes Hopkins Memorial Centre, Clarendon Road, Swinton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 27.

And Vero Moderno, at Unit 4 Vimto Gardens, Chapel Street, Salford was given a score of three on July 27.

It means that of Salford's 355 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 222 (63%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
