New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Salford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Baab-e-Salaam Banqueting Hall, at 33-37 Cottenham Lane, Salford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 13.

And St Sebastians Community Centre, at Within St Sebastians Community Centre, 1 Douglas Green, Salford was given a score of one on December 13.

It means that of Salford's 358 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 225 (63%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
