A Rochdale takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Darnhill Fish & Chip Shop, a takeaway at 1 Argyle Parade, Heywood, Lancashire was given the score after assessment on January 4, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Rochdale's 290 takeaways with ratings, 158 (54%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
