The Mod Cod, a takeaway at 44 Taylor Street, Middleton, Manchester was given the maximum score after assessment on October 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of Rochdale's 293 takeaways with ratings, 155 (53%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
