Rochdale road closures: more than a dozen for motorists to avoid this week

Rochdale's motorists will have 17 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And nine of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M62, from 9pm February 16 2021 to 6am May 31 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62, junction 19 eastbound, exit slip Lane one closed due to construction of a new road.

• M60, from 5am March 12 to 5am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 20 - 21 Permanent narrow lanes due to barrier works.

• M60, from 8pm March 14 to 5am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 18 - 21 Lane closures for barrier Scheme works.

And a further 14 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A627(M), from 9pm April 18 to 6am April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, J21 to J18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M60, from 8pm April 20 to 6am April 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J21 to J18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M60, from 8pm April 23 to 6am April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, J19 to J18 - Lane closure for carriageway - Reconstruction/Renewal.

• M60, from 9pm April 23 to 5am April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 18 to junction 21 - carriageway closure for maintenance works.

• A627(M), from 8pm April 25 to 6am April 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 19 to 20 - carriageway closure for communications.

• A627(M), from 9pm April 25 to 6am May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, J21 to J18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M62, from 9pm April 25 to 6am April 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 20 - 22 lane closures and slip road closures due to improvements.

• M62, from 8pm April 26 to 5am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, J19 to J20 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.

• M62, from 9pm April 26 to 6am April 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, J18 to J20 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M62, from 8pm April 28 to 5am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, J18 to J19 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.

• M62, from 9pm April 28 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 21 - 22 lane closures due to improvements.

• M62, from 9pm April 29 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, J21 to J18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• A663, from 8pm April 30 to 6am May 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 21 to 18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M62, from 9pm May 2 to 6am May 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, J21 to J18 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
