A Rochdale restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Venus Lounge, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Veenas Restaurant, 41 York Street, Heywood, Lancashire was given the maximum score after assessment on May 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Rochdale's 213 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 149 (70%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
