Road closures: more than a dozen for Rochdale drivers this week

Drivers in and around Rochdale will have 15 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And seven of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M62, from 9pm February 10 to 6am February 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 - 20 lane closures and slip road closures due to maintenance works.

• M66, from 8pm January 24 to 6am February 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M66 southbound, J1 to J1 - lane closure for inspection/survey.

• M62, from 9pm January 24 to 6am February 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 21 to junction 22, Lane closure for carriageway repair.

• M66, from 8pm February 1 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M66 southbound, J1 to J2 - lane closure for inspection/survey.

• A627(M), from 9pm January 16 to 7am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, jct 21 - 22 lane closures due to resurfacing schemes.

And a further 10 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M62, from 9pm February 13 to 5am February 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 20 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for communications.

• M62, from 9pm February 16 to 5.30am February 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 20 to 22 lane closures and slip road closure due to general maintenance works.

• M62, from 9pm February 16 to 5am February 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 eastbound, , junction 18 - 20 Lane closures and closure of slips due to general maintenance works.

• A627(M), from 9pm February 18 to 5am February 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 20 to 19 lane closures and slip road closures due to general maintenance works.

• M62, from 8pm February 22 to 5am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 20 - 19 lane closures for structure works.

• M62, from 8pm February 23 to 5am February 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, J19 to J20 - lane closure for structure - maintenance.

• M62, from 8pm February 23 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 23 to junction 22, Lane closure for barrier repair.

• M60, from 8pm February 27 to 6am March 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, J19 to J19 - carriageway closure for inspection/survey.

• M62, from 9pm February 27 to 6am March 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 19 - 22 lane closures due to improvements.

• M60, from 9pm February 27 to 5am March 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 18 to 20 - carriageway closure for Structure - maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
