Road closures: five for Rochdale drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Rochdale will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M62, from 8pm October 2 to 6am October 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, J18 to J20 - lane closure for structure - maintenance.

• M62, from 8pm October 3 to 6am October 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, J20 to J22 - lane closure for structure - maintenance on behalf of National Highways.

• A627(M), from 8pm October 4 to 6am October 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A627M both directions J1 to J4 - lane closure for structure - maintenance.

• M62, from 9pm October 9 to 5am October 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for construction - bridge/structure.

• M62, from 9pm October 16 to 5am October 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 21 to junction 22 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
