New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Rochdale’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Lena's Kitchen at Boarshaw Post Office, 151 Jubilee Road, Middleton, Rochdale; rated on June 17

• Rated 5: The Apple Tree Private Day Nursery at 11 Howarth Cross Street, Rochdale; rated on June 6

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Turf Tavern at 564 Edenfield Road, Rochdale, Lancashire; rated on May 9
