New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Quayside Fish and Chips, at The Rake Tapas, 6 Blackstone Edge Old Road, Littleborough was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 27.

And Milkin' It & More, at 1a Winton Street, Littleborough, Lancashire was given a score of one on October 27.

It means that of Rochdale's 294 takeaways with ratings, 166 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
