New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lali's Pizza, at 16 Bridge Street, Heywood, Lancashire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 31.

And Rochdale Shawarma Place, at 29 Oldham Road, Rochdale was also given a score of four on May 31.

It means that of Rochdale's 291 takeaways with ratings, 166 (57%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
