New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bulls Head, at Bulls Head Hotel, Ogden Lane, Newhey, Lancashire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 29.

And The Hornet, at Helmsman Lane, Rochdale was given a score of three on June 29.

It means that of Rochdale's 173 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 124 (72%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
