New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Flames, at 101 Halifax Road, Rochdale, Lancashire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 20.

And Red Roosters, at 355-357 Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, Lancashire was given a score of two on February 20.

It means that of Rochdale's 291 takeaways with ratings, 161 (55%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
