New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Rochdale’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Sahara, at 256-260 Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, Lancashire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 14.

And Mangla Curry House, at 240 Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, Lancashire was given a score of two on February 14.

It means that of Rochdale's 298 takeaways with ratings, 155 (52%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
