Road closures: three for Oldham drivers this week

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A663, from 9.30am October 14 to 3.30pm October 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound, Lane closure outside 343/345 due to replacement of damaged pole.

A663, from 9pm September 26 to 5am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Mough lane to Long lane - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

M62, from 9pm October 27 to 6am October 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 23 to junction 22, Lane closure for carriageway repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
