Road closures: three for Oldham drivers this week

Drivers in and around Oldham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A663, from 9pm September 26 to 5am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Mough lane to Long lane - Lane closure for inspection/survey.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

A663, from 8.30pm October 5 to 5am October 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Broadgate to Foxdenton Lane - Lane closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting).

M60, from 8.30pm October 7 to 5am October 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 20 to junction 23 - carriageway closure for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
