Road closures: three for Oldham drivers this week

Drivers in and around Oldham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Oldham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

M62, from 8.30pm July 17 to 5am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 21 to junction 22 - Lane closure for barrier/Fence Safety Repairs.

A663, from 9.30am July 25 to 3.30pm August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from M60, junction 21 to end of dualling south of, junction 6189 works on footway outside No 340 due to electric works. .

A663, from 8.30pm July 27 to 6am July 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Broadgate to Foxdenton Lane lane closures due to maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
