Drivers in and around Oldham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Oldham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M62, from 9pm November 3 to 5am November 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M62 westbound, junction 22 to junction 22 - carriageway closure for construction - bridge/structure.

M62, from 9pm November 4 to 5am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 19 to 21 lane closures due to general maintenance works.

A663, from 8am to 5pm on November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound, just before, junction with Lydia Becker Way Lane closure due to laying of HV cable duct.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
