Road closures: seven for Oldham drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around Oldham will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A663, from 9.30am June 27 to 3.30pm August 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663/A627M from, junction A669 to junction B6189 including dualling works on footway for installation of New Water Main.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A663, from 9.30am August 7 to 3.30pm August 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound, works on footway near to No 255 due to installation of Pole Bend.

• M62, from 8pm August 7 to 5am August 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound, junction 21 to junction 22 - lane closure for signs - erection.
• A663, from 9.30am August 9 to 3.30pm August 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, Lane one closure outside No 146 near to Park View due to installation of new water connection.
• M60, from 8pm August 11 to 6am August 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions J22 to J20 - carriageway closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
